Meetup.Club is for getting people into the same room, so it has to work for everyone who wants to be there — online and at the door.
The site
We build Meetup.Club to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Pages should work with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom, and a phone held in one hand. We test our pages with automated accessibility checks and fix what they find. Automated checks catch only some problems, so we count on you to tell us about the rest.
Venues
We usually don’t know a venue’s step-free entry, restrooms or seating until someone has checked. Rather than guess, a gathering’s page says “Step-free entry: unknown” until we know. Ask the host, or email [email protected] and we’ll find out.
